No style
No style is for videos that only need a clean cut: your best takes, without filler or long pauses. Switch on captions, zooms, music, sound effects or b-roll if you want them.
When to use it
- Interviews, podcasts and webinars you'll finish yourself
- Footage you want to hand to an editor already cut
- Videos where graphics would get in the way
How it works
On the New video page, under Pick a style, choose No style. The cut is always on. Everything else starts Off and you switch on what you want for this video:
- Zooms: size jumps at the cuts and quick zooms on strong words
- Captions: simple, clean captions
- Music: a calm track under your voice
- Sound effects: subtle accents
- B-roll: your own clips, the Garren library, or both
No style never adds graphics. What you switch on has a neutral look. After the edit, the review room can switch everything on or off again like for any video.
Credits
No style uses fewer credits than a style, depending on what you switch on:
| What's on | Credits per finished minute |
|---|---|
| The cut, with captions, music and sound effects as you like | 0.5 |
| Plus zooms | +0.15 |
| Plus b-roll | +0.5 |
It never costs more than an edit in a style (1 credit per minute). Like every edit, it's rounded up per video and uses at least 1 credit. The New video page shows the exact amount before you start.
