YouTube package and post copy
A 16:9 video comes with a YouTube package: titles, a description, tags, chapters and thumbnails. A vertical or feed video comes with post copy: a title, a caption and hashtags.
The YouTube package (16:9)
Open the YouTube tab in the review room and choose Write the package. Garren writes it from the final cut:
| Part | What you get |
|---|---|
| Titles | Three options. The tab warns when a title is over about 70 characters, where YouTube starts cutting it off. |
| Description | Ready to paste, in the language of the video. |
| Tags | Up to YouTube's 500-character limit, with Copy all. |
| Chapters | Timestamps for each part of the video, ready to paste into the description. |
| Thumbnails | Two thumbnails. See Thumbnails. |
Each part has a New button that writes it again. With your YouTube channel added, titles follow the style of your own channel.
The package is included in the edit.
Post copy (9:16 and 4:5)
Open the Post copy tab. You get:
- a title
- a caption
- hashtags
Choose Rewrite and say how, for example "shorter" or "more casual". Post copy is included in the edit.
Check before you publish
The copy is written by AI from your video. Check names, numbers and claims before you publish.
