Languages
Garren edits in the language you speak. There's nothing to set: it recognises the language from your footage.
What works in your language
- The cut. Garren cuts the filler words of your language, not only English "ums", and handles restarts the way they sound in that language.
- Captions. They're written in your language's own script, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Arabic. Right-to-left languages read right to left.
- Graphics. Text in graphics uses fonts that have every character of your language.
- YouTube package and post copy. Titles, description, tags, chapters, captions and hashtags are written in the language of the video.
Scripts in other languages
Paste your script in the language you recorded in. For languages written without spaces, such as Japanese and Chinese, Garren estimates the length from the number of characters.
Tips
- Record one language per video for the cleanest cut and captions.
- Add names and special terms to the notes so they're spelled right in the captions.
