The same video in other frames

Turn a finished video into the other frames: a YouTube video into a Short and a feed post, or a Reel into a 16:9 cut. On Creator and Pro.

When you start the edit

On the New video page, open More options and pick the frames under Also export in. Garren makes them from the first version as soon as it's ready.

From a finished video

In the review room, open Export and choose Other sizes. Pick a frame and choose Export. The button shows the credits it uses.

What changes in the new frame

It's the same edit: the same cut, words, graphics, music and sound. Garren adapts it to the frame:

• each shot is cropped around your face on 9:16 and 4:5
• captions are resized and moved for the frame
• graphics switch to their layout for that frame

The new frame is its own download in the Export menu.

Credits

The same video in another frame uses 1 credit per 2 minutes of video, at least 1 credit. A 60-second Short in a second frame uses 1 credit, a 10-minute video 5.

Plans

Exporting in other frames comes with the Creator and Pro plans. On Starter the option shows the plan it comes with.
