Getting started

What is Garren

Garren is an AI video editor for talking-head videos. You upload your raw takes, pick a style, and get back a finished edit ready to publish.

What you get back

A finished video in the frame you picked, edited the way a good editor would cut it:

  • the best take of every line, with filler words, long pauses and double takes removed
  • zooms on the cuts and on strong words
  • animated graphics for the points you make
  • captions, music and sound effects, mixed under your voice
  • b-roll from your own clips or the Garren library, where it fits
  • a YouTube package (titles, description, tags, chapters and thumbnails) for a 16:9 video, or post copy (title, caption and hashtags) for a vertical or feed video

You can change anything afterwards by typing what you want in the chat, and every change becomes a new version you can go back to.

How it works

  1. Pick a style. Start with one of the ready-made styles, or show Garren up to three videos you like and it builds a style from them.
  2. Upload your footage. Add your raw takes as files or links, choose 16:9, 9:16 or 4:5, and start the edit. Most videos are ready in a few minutes.
  3. Review and publish. Watch the edit in the review room, change it in chat, and download the MP4 with captions and copy ready to post.

What you need to record

Just you, talking to the camera, in one take or many. Upload the files straight from your camera or phone, 4K included. A script helps Garren keep your lines in order, but it's optional.

Who uses Garren

Creators use it to publish more often without editing every video by hand. Teams and agencies use it so their editors start from a finished edit instead of raw footage: every client keeps their own style, and on Creator and Pro one recording can become several videos.
